About Us

The Krempels Brain Injury Foundation is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by brain injury.

We offer two programs.

• Family Support provides financial assistance and support to family caregivers and members of SteppingStones, as well as NH residents who are in urgent financial need following a severe brain injury.

• SteppingStones is an innovative, post-rehabilitation, community-based, day program that empowers members to engage in a variety of functional activities that increases independence, community reintegration, and overall quality of life.
  

The organization was founded in 1995 and is governed by a Board of Directors. It is administered by a paid staff of four, with the help of members, several contracted providers, many community volunteers and student interns from the University of New Hampshire.

We gratefully receive financial support from individuals and corporations and grants from The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, The Provident Bank and Liberty Mutual Group.
